Proposed studio extension to an existing dwelling featuring an exposed timber structure to the 'glazed' gable, where semi-translucent cladding replaces glass, providing plentiful diffused dayight whilst maintaining a degree of privacy. The panoramic side window frames the landscape view. A glazed link separates the modern extension from the existing traditional house. Birch Plywood internal cladding provides warmth and 'structure' to the interior space while externally, the traditionally proportioned walls and roof are finished consistently in a modern vertical timber cladding.
