Finished in horizontal Siberian Larch Timber Cladding throughout, this three bedroom new-build dwelling is a modern interpretation of a Norwegian 'long-house'. The mono-pitched roof draws from traditional lean-to roof forms common amongst traditional Orcadian steadings. Sitting low under a hill and addressing the sea, the silvered, horizontal, cladding evokes Viking timber longhouses and longships.
