Rennovation and extension of a traditional cottage. The new and old are separated and joined, by a timber-clad, flat-roofed 'link'. Despite dwarfing the original cottage, the extension is sensitively proportioned and positioned so as not to over-dominate. Reclaimed stone cladding to the extension visually binds old and new.
